Rethinking Revenue Series

Corporate sponsorship is an ever-evolving source of revenue for your nonprofit. Has your sponsorship program stalled? That’s the opposite of what you need, especially during these challenging times.

Wondering how to keep your program relevant? How to remain compelling to corporations? And most importantly, how to expand your revenue? Whether you’re just getting started or imagining your next level, we’ll share the important performance indicators and the top trends in sponsorship today.

In this session, you’ll learn from these experienced nonprofit leaders:

  • The four lifecycles of nonprofit corporate sponsorship programs

  • What sponsorship looks like and key activities in each cycle

  • What stops working and how you know when to evolve

  • How to smoothly move to the next level and get rapid results

  • How these techniques worked for Destination Imagination

Hear sponsorship strategist Gail Bower share how to take your sponsorship program to the next level and nonprofit executives Michele Tuck-Ponder and Andrew Whitmire share how Destination Imagination evolved its sponsorship strategy and achieved success during the pandemic.

Gail Bower is the founder of Bower & Co., a revenue strategy firm helping nonprofits become self-sufficient by developing reliable sources of earned and non-dues revenue. For over 25 years, Gail has helped nonprofits double, triple, and quadrupled earned revenue – and that’s just in year one. She has been interviewed by the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Time, and U.S. News & World Report.

Michele Tuck-Ponder is the Executive Director of Destination Imagination, a global creative problem-solving program for young people. Over her 30 year career, she has served as the Executive Director of the Women’s Fund of New Jersey, CEO of the Girl Scouts of Delaware-Raritan, and mayor of Princeton, NJ.
